Sarah has developed an extensive background in a variety of strategic partnership roles, communications exercises, and vision settings.
Prior to founding Bear Consulting with Scott, Sarah worked for Ballotpedia, the Encyclopedia of American Politics, managing the major tech partnerships, setting strategy for external relations, writing internal and external facing newsletters on a wide variety of policy topics, and fielding and finding media opportunities.
Sarah is well-versed in social media best practices, press release writing, grant and contract drafting, and identifying and reaching any audience through compelling narrative and marketing tactics.
Scott is a seasoned Recruiting Professional with 10+ years of management experience and 9 years of full cycle recruiting in small and large corporate and agency environments.
Prior to founding Bear Consulting with Sarah, Scott served as a Recruiting and Workforce Development Manager for a small government consulting firm in Columbia, MD. He was responsible for managing the day to day operations and performed full cycle recruiting for various IT and Project Management openings. Scott was also responsible for structuring the Recruiting Department from the ground up and configuring, implementing, and managing the Applicant Tracking System. Other responsibilities included building and managing client relationships, 3rd party contractors (citizen and non-citizen), establishing candidate rates/salaries, resume writing/formatting, proposal preparation and participating in various levels of reviews.
Scott has supported and managed recruiting activities for numerous industries including Government (Local, State, Federal), Information Technology, E-Learning, Alternative Fuels, Oil & Gas, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Power Generation, Business Process Outsourcing, Corporate Services, Financial, Food & Beverage, and Healthcare.
