Sarah Peterson
Sarah has developed an extensive background in a variety of strategic partnership roles, communications exercises, and vision settings.

Prior to founding Bear Consulting with Scott, Sarah worked for Ballotpedia, the Encyclopedia of American Politics, managing the major tech partnerships, setting strategy for external relations, writing internal and external facing newsletters on a wide variety of policy topics, and fielding and finding media opportunities.

Sarah is well-versed in social media best practices, press release writing, grant and contract drafting, and identifying and reaching any audience through compelling narrative and marketing tactics.

Sarah has appeared on national radio programs, including NPR's Here & Now . She has also been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Vice, and Teen Vogue.
Scott Peterson
Scott is a seasoned Business Professional with over 10 years of management and 10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in small and large corporate and agency environments. Scott is a current member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC) and is pending certification as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW).

Prior to founding Bear Consulting with Sarah, Scott served as a Recruiting and Workforce Development Manager for a small government consulting firm in Columbia, MD. Scott built the Recruiting Department from the ground up including policies, procedures, workflows, and configuring and implementing the Applicant Tracking System. He managed the day-to-day operations and performed full-cycle recruiting for several multi-million dollar IT and Project Management contracts. Other responsibilities included establishing and managing client and partner relationships, 3rd party contractors (citizen and non-citizen), determining candidate rates/salaries, resume writing/formatting, proposal preparation, and participating in various levels of reviews.
Scott has supported and managed in numerous industries including Government (Local, State, Federal), Information Technology, Construction, E-Learning, Alternative Fuels, Oil & Gas, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Power Generation, Business Process Outsourcing, Corporate Services, Financial, Food & Beverage, and Healthcare.
